War on Christian Extremism Far From Over

The war against Christian extremism is in fact accelerating.  Reports reveal that over 100,000 Christians are killed annually just because they are Christian.  The Christian Brotherhood is monitoring closely those countries in which these deaths occur.
Another parallel term for ‘Christian extremism’ would be ‘Christian radicalism’.  Christians are considered radical/extreme because they are willing to give their lives for their faith instead of seeking to kill those who don’t share that faith.  In other words, Christians do not kill for their faith; rather they are killed for their faith.

“By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us.  And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.”  1 John 3:16
Christians obey the Bible which teaches that God will take vengeance on those who persecute them in His manner and His time.
According to the Bible killing of Christians will increase.
“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom…These are the beginning of sorrows…then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake”  Matthew 24:7-9
Hatred towards the Christian will peak during the future 7 year tribulation period.
“When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.  And they cried with a loud voice, saying. ‘How long, O Lord, holy and true, until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth’?  Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.”  Revelation 6:9-11
“Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark…”  Revelation 20:4
There are numerous professing Christians who really do not posses ‘saving faith’ and the time will come when they will abandon their profession when they realize the true cost of following Christ.
“…and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.  They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.  But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.”  1 John 2:18-20
There is no such thing as a ‘moderate’ Christian.
The biggest enemy of the Christian Brotherhood is all around us and practically goes unchallenged and for the most part unnoticed.  It is political correctness.  This subtle enemy manifests itself whenever Christian values and Bible teachings are compromised or marginalized for the sake of pacifying the few.  It is indeed a sad commentary that this present administration is setting the culture for marginalizing Christianity in America.  Likewise, such contemporary thinking is totally at odds with Scriptural teachings.  The major emphasis appears to be appeasing the growing progressive movement in this country.
Perhaps the second most significant enemy of the Christian Brotherhood is what can be termed ‘Modern Day Pharisees’.  And again, this administration is more concerned with appeasing such adherents than challenging their incompatible religious/political views.  Jesus warned repeatedly and forcefully to stand up to this group and rebuke them in total.  In future columns both the religious and political views of modern day Pharisees will be outlined.  And again, this anti-Christian philosophy is all around us.
The current administration reeks with hypocrisy.  On the one hand they preach the doctrine of the separation of church and state while on the other hand they do not speak out against the modern day Pharisaic viewpoint which does not even to pretend to recognize such a separation.
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees!”  Matthew 23:13
